Sharing Time and Experiences

Yesterday I was at the park. There were a number of parent/child groups in the play area. Some looked like they were having fun together; others appeared to be there just to pass the time. What was the difference? The ones who were having fun were talking and laughing, sharing the time and the experience. It was an afternoon of simple fun and discovery — climbing on the monkey bars, swinging higher than you thought you could, learning to walk, playing in the sand, etc. Sharing an experience makes a lasting connection. This is what we designed our books to do — give the adult reader and the child something to reflect upon and a time to share. Each of the books has a broad backdrop for the child’s imagination. We hope to give you and your little one a place to start talking. It’s important. Enjoy some time together.
